Danaos Shipping owns recruitment and training offices in Piraeus, Ukraine (Odessa, Mariupol), Russia (St. Petersburg) and Tanzania (Zanzibar) all of which are tasked with providing qualified officers and ratings to be employed on board the company’s vessels. However, our branch offices do not act as crewing agencies but as the crewing department for Danaos Shipping.
Our branches invest in in-house seminars and training. Seafarers are our greatest asset, and we train them in efficiency, productivity, adaptability and multicultural communication. A variety of seminars specifically designed for Danaos Shipping is held at each office twice every year.
Our branch offices
At our branch offices in Piraeus, Ukraine, and Russia, we provide stable and promising job opportunities on our big cellular container vessels for Deck and Engineer Officers, Electricians and Ratings. But at Danaos Zanzibar office, training is offered only to Ratings.
