AMVER AWARDS

Since 2000, Danaos Shipping has participated in the Automated Mutual Assistance Vessel Rescue reporting system (AMVER) and has performed remarkably well every single year. AMVER is a unique, computer-based and voluntary global ship reporting system sponsored by the United States Coast Guard and used worldwide in search and rescue operations to assist persons in distress at sea. In 2015, we were ranked fifth with 49 vessels out of 9,101 that were eligible for an AMVER award.
